I have an idea, however I’m going to put it out there before I go ahead and build something to facilitate it.
Who would be interested in a trading hub? I haven’t quite figured out the details, but it would basically be a a place where you can put up a sign or something with a material/item you have an abundance of, or a material/item you are chasing and your name, allowing people to contact you and barter.
I think it’s a viable solution to all those chests full of cobblestone or gravel that someone might want.
