What you think happened: The reasoning for the ban was griefing. I don't recall any griefing unless digging a mine under your home is classed as greifing? And yes actually, for about 10 minutes after I first started, I took the wooden floor out of a house to finish mine. But after that I immediatly started playing properly, I created a shop and made a few friends.
I apologise, it will never happen again, I will stick to getting my resources properly.
