Pinging people in Chat

I've seen on other servers in the past that if you type someone's username, it pings them and makes a sound.

I think it's a cool idea, to alert users that someone is talking to them.

I to have seen this and I do prefer it, It makes not missing a message in chat a lot easier.

We used to have a plugin like this but it was abandoned. I'll definitely look into it, it's really helpful.

Chat Manager has the feature

However, it also has a lot of other features that we either don't need or already have, so not sure if this helps. I'm sure they could be disabled, it's just a question of whether it's worth adding a whole nother plugin for one feature.. o_O

Cheers for the suggestion, but a plugin like that has way too many unnecessary features, and it's closed source which is a no-no. Plus we have our developer(s) that could create something to be exactly as we need.
