Permanent Prefix Question

I think I remember purchasing a permanent prefix: [Scarlet] (In Red with square brackets) some time between 2014-2015.

Is that supposed to carry on to 1.9 or should I re-buy it?

No purchases were carried over to 1.9 so everything needs to be done fresh.
