Movies - Good one, bad ones, favourites.

So, I love movies, have a hard time with TV series because they take too long and don't really go anywhere.
I've watched just about everything I can find which is half decent and was wondering if any of you had any suggestions.

I'll go first, with some less know titles that blew me away (in no particular order)

(Adults only.....)

Edit: Absolute number 1 - Predestination (WOW, this movie, i don't want to say anything about it, it might ruin the experience. Australian made movie too)

Mr. Nobody (<--- mind blowing)
The Divide (<-- gritty, dark, suspenseful)
Enter the Void (<--- Entirely shot in first person, done really well, a bit 'artsy' later on, definitely adults only)
The Worlds End (Nick Frost+Simon Pegg duo, funny asf, same jokes require a second viewing)
Horns (Just writing that title gives me cold shivers, epic story of love and revenge)
Training Day (If you haven't seen this.... just do it!)
End of Watch (^that, reminded me to put this movie down, edge of your seat kinda stuff)

I'm probably going to think of more later, and add them, so key any eye out for some decent vids.

p.s. I'm going to assume everyone has already seen the classics, clockwork orange, shining, etc

have a good dayyyy

There is a really great french film called Irréversible

very gritty and has some very intense scenes (am unable to find a copy in english apart from subs)

the entire story of the film is shown in reverse so it might require mutiple views for some

also if you have not seen it check out Requiem for a dream. absolutely stunning movie that will leave you shocked for quite awhile

Gummo: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119237/?ref_=tt_rec_tt

and if you are in a really weird and brave mood check out Salò (the 120 Days of Sodom)

I've never seen any of those movies, maybe I'll put them on my list.

Favourite movie is probably White Chicks, just cause each time I watch it, I understand the jokes better and it just gets funnier and funnier

I have no preference for types of movies, but i'm pretty into the View Askew movies. More specifically Dogma, which is high up on my list of favourite movies.

I recently watched Yoga Hosers, which is part of the True North Trilogy, and they are horror movies, but also quite funny. As is practically a promise with most Kevin Smith Movies. They are made to look like a B movie, but in reality have some oscar winning actors and the writing is amazing.

Either way, Dogma is amazing. I wish they would make a sequel, but Kevin Smith got too many death threats.

Depending what you're into, my dad likes to shove the movie "Sid and Nancy" down anyones throats and as well as "Memento".
