Main warp for player shops

Just a suggestion in regards to player shops

Was thinking how player shops are set up that it may be more beneficial to have a main server warp.

Only way the player shops get traction now is by chat advertisement otherwise would go unnoticed without randomly going through the warp list.

The idea would be like have a warp like /Playershops and have booths set up with x amount of space in which players could place their chests.

This just allows players to browse all the goods that people are offering in one space and go around and compare goods/prices.

We used to have stalls, but it caused a lot of lag on the server.. the whole area was just zzz. Everyone sold everything and it was actually hard to go from shop to shop to check what everyone had. Just ended up being a giant maze.
We also had smaller shop area, with only about 12 shops.. but that made it unfair on all but the people who managed to get in. Sometimes they would sit undeveloped for 6 months at a time.. didn't matter as long as they had paid their rent. So that didn't offer much choice or range..

Have also tried an area that had signs with the shop warps posted on signs. Problem was with one place is that it needs someone to update it.. everyone has good intentions till they randomly stop playing etc etc. Then half the shops won't be there anyway.

Most people are kinda smart and use 'shop' in their warp name, with Coles, Aldi and the other rips off being the exceptions.

Did you know it is possible to filter the search results of warp list?

/warp list -n searchterm

So /warp list -n shop would narrow it down to everything with 'shop' in the name.

Other good things to try are:

/warp list -n xp
/warp list -n farm
/warp list -n guardian
/warp list -n zombie

etc etc

You can also search for a list of warps by player/creator name..

eg.
/warp list -c PinkPawn

:D
