Linking Nether Portals

If your nether portal (the one actually in the nether) does not send you back to the nether portal you used to get there, this tutorial is for you.
The Purple Text is the Steps You Need To Take

You don't want this as this means that you cant get back to your base through that portal, you'll end up in some other guy's place and will have to warp home.
What you want is something like this:
1048

In this case your overworld and nether portals have a direct link and you can get to each of them through the other.
Okay so, how do we do this?

First you need the resources to make another nether portal (10 obsidian and a flint+steel minimum).
Second, you take down the x and z values of your overworld portal's position using F3.
Now, taking those numbers, you divide them by 8 (y value doesnt matter at all).
Finally, going into the nether, you take the divided values you found in the last step and make a nether portal at the coordinates (doesnt need to be exactly right but keep it close as possible) and now, when you go through that portal, you'll be home!
Your portals are connected, congrats!

If you have any more questions /mail Toghe in-game. I'll do it for you but it's always better to learn for yourself :D
