How was the Admin abusing their privileges: /ban happy

I was banned while exploring.
There is absolutely no reason for this action, none at all.
It seems to be a random act. This was my first day on the server
I thought it well put together and well run, until this.
Being Admin on no less than 12 servers and an older mature player
I find this somewhat distressing if not blatant abuse of the /ban
considering I was walking alone, exploring about 3000 blocks from spawn.
As an Admin I would like to see this rectified.
In 4 yrs and over 30 servers I have never been banned, ever.
I'm an easy as you go player who likes to keep to themselves.

What Admins were online at the time: A few.

I still have to live with the mcbans. server report on logins.

Probably one of the best server's I've seen for a while.
Just sad a staff member couldn't be bothered to check
before swinging the hammer.

1) You were never actually banned, sinny tells me he just did a "/kickall BanHammer Has Spoken" to end an argument between several players.

2) He apologised.
3) As panthar posted above, there are 0 bans listed on your mcbans profile, nor are there any bans for your name on our server, so there is no way you could be getting a report for bans being present from mcbans.
4) If you're going to keep up with this attitude, maybe this server isn't for you.
